Reed Cagle
Colorado Springs, CO

About

Reed Cagle was born in 1962 in the small town of Clarksville, Texas. He grew up in a tight-knit community where he learned the importance of hard work and helping others.

He has been married to Donna for over 30 years, and they have raised their son as a team. In 1999, the family moved to Colorado Springs. They moved back to Plano, Texas, in 2017, where they still live.

Mr. Cagle has been a consultant for oil and energy firms for many years. His experience in the field gives him valuable advice to share with clients on how to use horizontal drilling for their benefit.

In 1986, Reed began his work life. His first job was with Kinlaw Oil Corporation as an associate. He was very interested in the business world and worked hard to learn everything there was to know about the company and the business. He moved up in the company and was given increasingly important jobs during this time. He worked for the company for ten years before deciding to leave alone. He started his own business, which has been booming ever since. Mr. Cagle is a self-made man who knows what it takes to be successful in business.

In 1996, Charles Reed Cagle moved his business from Kinlaw to Dallas, Texas. He started Heartland Energy Inc. in 1997. The company that made its energy would become HEI. Mr. Cagle was the company's president and chief executive officer.

Under Mr. Cagle's leadership, HEI became a nationally recognized leader in the alternative energy industry. In 2001, he was featured on the cover of "Texas CEO" magazine, and in 2002 he was honored as one of D CEO magazine's "Who's Who in Dallas."

Reed has worked in the oil and gas industry for many years. He started by working with his joint venture partners to bring in many professionals from the energy industry. These were operators, drilling contractors, engineers, geophysicists, and service companies. The company's primary goal was to fund and investigate gas, oil, and mineral sites.

In 2006, he worked for the first time in the drilling service part of the oil industry. He worked with Mid Continent Drilling as a partner. He paid for the project and built a drilling rig with 2000 horsepower. The company owns a mesa model 1500 drilling rig that can drill up to 20,000 feet deep.

Reed Cagle started working in mining in the U.S. and South America in 2011. He has vast experience working in the industry, and his hard work has led to some impressive successes.

In Oregon, Reed bought a mining permit to produce an impressive 89,000 ounces of gold. He also worked as a miner in Chile, helping to get money and run the day-to-day business at a place that processed gold and copper.
